Ozone & Longevity — Next Level Medicine
Morning coffee - quiet exhaustion

Diagnostics · Energy Check

When 8 hours of sleepare no longer enough.

Private in-depth diagnostics for fatigue, brain fog and exhaustion — the kind that looks "normal in standard lab work". 60 to 90 minutes of consultation with a physician. 30 years of experience. Munich-Schwabing.

You may recognize yourself if

Something is different — and every result looks "fine".

You sleep 8 hours and still wake up empty in the morning

Your focus and mental sharpness are no longer where they were two years ago

Exercise no longer gives you energy back — it takes even more out of you

A holiday no longer restores you — three days in, you are back where you were before you left

Coffee is no longer a pleasure but a tool you use to function

You cannot find your way back after an infection, a long-Covid episode or a prolonged period of stress

Your doctor says: "Your results are fine. Try to reduce your stress."

You are still functioning — but you know it is not what it used to be

"I am healthy.
I just no longer feel like myself."

What energy really is

Before we measure: a few answers to questions patients often only ask once we sit down together.

Cellular Energy

Where does physical energy actually come from?

Energy is produced in the mitochondria — the "power plants" of your cells. For this to work, the body needs many building blocks: oxygen, micronutrients such as B vitamins, magnesium, iron, coenzyme Q10. If one of these building blocks is disrupted, energy production drops at the cellular level — even if you eat and sleep enough.

Sleep & Recovery

Why is sleep sometimes no longer enough?

Because sleep is not the only factor. Even after 8 hours of sleep, you can wake up empty if:

  • your mitochondria are not working efficiently
  • your daily cortisol rhythm is out of sync
  • your thyroid or hormones are slowing energy production
  • micronutrients needed for the recovery phase are missing
  • chronic inflammation is quietly consuming energy in the background

Sleep is the recovery phase. But if the machinery is not running, even the best recovery will not help.

Chronic Exhaustion

What happens in chronic exhaustion?

It is rarely a single problem. More often an interplay: hormonal shifts, mitochondrial weakness, micronutrient deficiencies, cortisol dysregulation, sometimes subclinical hypothyroidism. These factors reinforce one another — and are rarely looked at together in standard lab work.

Normal Results

Why does my doctor say my results are normal?

Because "normal" describes a statistic, not your individual condition. Standard lab values reveal disease. They rarely reveal whether your body is working at its personal optimum. The range between "ill" and "performing well" is often where exhaustion lives — and where standard labs stay blind.

What standard medicine often misses

Where standard lab work reaches its limits — and why complete diagnostics look different.

Standard Check-up

What does a standard check-up usually measure?

A standard check-up at your family doctor typically covers a small blood count, cholesterol, liver values, kidney values, blood glucose and sometimes TSH. These results show whether something is acutely wrong. They do not show why you feel exhausted.

Gaps in the Standard

What is usually not measured — but matters in exhaustion?

What standard lab work rarely examines:

  • Daily cortisol profile (several measurements across the day, not just one)
  • Complete thyroid diagnostics (fT3, fT4, rT3, antibodies — not just TSH)
  • Whole-blood micronutrient status (iron stores, B vitamins, intracellular magnesium)
  • Mitochondrial markers
  • Sex hormones in the right cycle phase / time of day
  • Low-grade inflammation markers

These results tell the story of where energy is being lost. Without them, the diagnostics remain incomplete.

Timing & Context

Why is a single blood draw often not enough?

Hormones fluctuate. Cortisol is highest in the morning and lowest in the evening. Estrogen changes across the female cycle. The thyroid interacts across several axes. A single measurement in the morning, without context, gives only a single data point. We measure in context — because that is the only way to see a pattern.

Diagnostics before therapy. Always.

What we examine

Complete energy diagnostics, tailored to you.

The Energy Check is not a standard package. It is tailored to your symptoms, your history and your individual situation — following a detailed initial consultation of 60 to 90 minutes.

Depending on your case, the diagnostics typically include extended hormone diagnostics, mitochondrial function, whole-blood micronutrient status, complete thyroid diagnostics, a daily cortisol profile, inflammation markers and metabolic parameters. What exactly we measure is a decision we make together — based on what makes sense for you.

We measure what you actually need — not what sells.

How we work

First understand. Then measure. Then decide together.

01

Initial Consultation

60–90 minutes

Working through your symptoms systematically: what, when, how. History, lifestyle, existing results. With the physician — from the very beginning.

02

Individual Diagnostics

Which values make sense for you. Blood, saliva, urine where needed. No standard packages.

03

Evaluation

What is going on, which factors interact, what takes priority. In writing, prepared by the physician.

04

Therapy & Support

8–12 weeks

Discussing options, deciding together. Follow-up with the same physician throughout. Adjustments, long-term care.

Who this diagnostic path is for

An honest assessment — before you book a consultation.

Who it's for

  • People with persistent exhaustion despite "normal" standard results
  • Executives, business owners and professionals whose performance has declined
  • Women 35-55 who have felt something change after 40 — without anyone knowing exactly what
  • Men 40-60 with declining energy, focus and resilience
  • Patients after long Covid who have not quite found their way back
  • Patients after burnout who want to function again without continuing to compensate
  • People who have been given "standard answers" but do not feel heard

Who it's not for

  • If you are looking for an "energy booster package" without diagnostics — we do not offer that
  • If you want a solution in 10 minutes — we do not offer that either
  • In acute internal or psychiatric emergencies — we are not the right place for that
  • If you are looking for a quick sick note — not for that either

When should I come?

If exhaustion is affecting your quality of life, your ability to work or your sleep — that is medically relevant. Even if your standard results are normal. Even if you are still functioning. "Waiting until it gets worse" is rarely the best strategy.

What if I am still unsure?

That is exactly what the initial consultation is for. It is not a prescription for therapy — it is a conversation in which we assess together whether a deeper path makes sense for you. If it does not, we will tell you.

Frequently Asked Questions

"Fine" describes a statistic. It does not describe whether your body is working at its personal optimum. If you feel exhausted — that is medically relevant. Even if your standard lab values are normal. We measure deeper, and in context.

A standard check-up usually measures standard parameters: blood count, cholesterol, liver values, sometimes TSH. We run extended hormone diagnostics, mitochondrial markers, whole-blood micronutrients, complete thyroid diagnostics and a daily cortisol profile. And we read the results together — not in isolation.

No. If no therapy makes sense after the diagnostics, we will say so. If one does, we will propose it — and you decide.

That depends on the cause and your individual response. Many patients notice the first changes after 8 to 12 weeks. Full stabilization often takes 3 to 6 months. We monitor progress regularly.

Privately insured patients are reimbursed for many services — depending on their plan. Self-paying patients receive an invoice in line with the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ), which may be tax-deductible.

Current waiting time for an initial consultation: 2 to 4 weeks. We accept a limited number of new patients each month.

Bring all existing results with you (blood values, imaging, previous diagnoses, medication list). Note down your symptoms in chronological order. That is all — we take care of the rest.

The depth of the diagnostics, the time we take for the conversation, a medical approach with pharmaceutical support. We read your results in context, not in isolation. We bring hormones, micronutrients, thyroid and metabolism together into a single picture — not one after another, but as a system.
